Our Nurse Aide Course
This is a comprehensive course designed to teach students the skills and abilities essential to the provision of basic care to patients and residents in hospitals and long-term care facilities. The student will learn how to administer First Aid, perform CPR, check vital signs, and many other essential skills required to be licensed as a CNA. In order to be licensed, students must take the Texas Nurse Aide exam ($125-not included in the tuition). The written exam may be taken in English or Spanish, and the skills will be performed in English as requested by an examiner.
The total cost is $1082.50. You may pay $324.75 to start, and the rest can be made in two more payments on week 2 and week 4 of the class. This includes the application fee, tuition, Hartman PowerPoint, criminal background check and state taxes/fees.
Optional textbook, state exam ($125.00 exam fee paid to PROMETRIC) and scrubs are not included.
Class days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for five weeks.
No evening/weekend classes at this time
You may choose to come in person or enjoy the live class via Zoom (60 hours).
Must attend 40 clinical hours in person. Clinical schedule will be set once the class begins but usually take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 am to 2 pm throughout the 5 weeks.
